Upset Salman Khan Cancels ‘Dabangg 2′ Shoot For Yash Chopra

MUMBAI: The entire Bollywood film fraternity has gathered together to support the Chopra clan during its greatest hour of need.
Over the past few days, we have witnessed the strength and unity of the Bollywood film fraternity. Celebrities and film stars have descended in droves to support Yash Chopra’s family in their bereavement.
Bollywood’s reigning stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Hrithik Roshan, have all been seen at the Chopra residence, and seen attending the funeral of the legendary filmmaker.
Salman Khan is no exception, as he was extremely shocked and upset on hearing the sad news of Yash Chopra’s demise. He was shooting for his upcoming home production, ‘Dabangg 2′, and was seen cancelling his shoot as a mark of respect to the late filmmaker.
Salman also spoke to his elder son, Aditya Chopra, to offer his condolences.
Salman Khan, who has never been directed by Yash Chopra, but had starred in his latest production, ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, was extremely close to the legend. Salman’s father, Salim Khan, was not just a colleague of Yash Chopra, but was considered a good friend of his too.
Salim Khan also rushed to the side of the Chopra family upon hearing the unfortunate news of the Chopra patriarch’s demise.
Yash Chopra was an extremely revered man in the film industry. He was the maker of superhits like ‘Silsila’, ‘Chandni’, ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’, ‘Veer Zaara’.
His latest directorial venture, ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’, stars Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma and is up for release on 13th November, 2012.
